Tap a picture; the device speaks the word aloud. Words collect in the strip at the top; the big Speak button says the whole strip.
You can record your own voice for any button. Recordings stay on this device.
This app collects no data. It has no accounts and makes no network calls. Everything is stored on this device only.
Parents and caregivers: press and hold the app name at the top of the board to open Setup.

Read each word once, in your own voice. A button with a recording always plays the recording. Buttons still waiting for a recording are marked.
Lock state stays on after the app is closed and reopened.
Tap a cell to edit it. Empty cells can take a new button. A placed button never moves to a different cell.
A backup copy is saved on this device before every change.
Adding a page or filling an empty cell never moves a button that is already placed.
Changing a language changes the words shown; it never moves a button.
Only voices stored on this device are listed, so speaking works with no internet. Device voices are adult voices supplied by the device maker.
Pitch changes the device voice only — how it sounds when the device speaks a word. It never changes a voice recording, and it cannot make a recording of your child's own voice. Recordings are the real voices of the people who made them.
No sound? Check the device volume. On iPhone and iPad, the silent switch must be off. On Android, a voice for the language may need to be downloaded once in the device Settings, under Text-to-speech.
Ideas for the adult sitting with the child. Tap the same buttons while you say the words out loud yourself, in everyday moments. There is no score and nothing is counted.
A notebook for the family. Write down what she did — a new word she used, a first time, a milestone, or any note. There are no scores and nothing is graded; it simply records what happened, on the day it happened.
A backup holds the whole board: words, pictures, photos, and voice recordings. Keep the file somewhere safe; it is the only copy outside this device.
On the iPad (her main device): open this page in Safari, tap the Share button, then “Add to Home Screen”. The app then opens full-screen, with no browser bars, and works with no internet. On Android: open the page in Chrome, tap the menu (⋮), then “Add to Home Screen”.
Games that sit beside the board, in their own place. The board itself never changes here. Coloring and finished games are not saved and nothing about play is counted or recorded.

Spoken words come from a voice recording you make, or from a voice stored on this device. No voice is sent anywhere.
This view copies the child's board exactly, only bigger, so an adult can tap along while speaking.
